Weekly Recipe: Breakfast Cocktail
Since we are well past 100 days of quarantine, I feel no shame in telling you that I have done extensive research on “Breakfast Cocktails”. No, I don't have a cocktail with my breakfast every morning but - it’s quarantine and Saturdays look a lot different (lol). Specifically, a few weekends ago on father’s day, we made backyard brunch for my parents and I was tired of just a classic mimosa, so we experimented with a “Breakfast Mule” and it was delicious.
What you need:
ice
1 shot tequila
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup ginger beer
Lime wedges, for garnish
Orange slices, for garnish
What to Do: Fill your favorite cup with ice. Add the tequila. Next, pour in the orange juice, followed by the ginger beer. Stir. Garnish with lime wedges and orange slices. Enjoy your Saturday morning!
