Weekly Recipe: “Healthy Soup”

Alright, so back in the olden days (2019), Sami and I were traveling non stop and after every trip, we would come home and make what we call, “healthy soup.” This is a soup that we believed if we ate it— we wouldn’t get sick. Well, fast forward and we are not on a plane every week but we do still love this soup!

So here it is: “healthy soup”

What you need:

  • Chicken breast (optional)

  • Chicken bone broth

  • Carrots

  • Onion

  • Garlic

  • Turmeric

  • Curry powder

  • Salt

  • Pepper

What to do:

  • Boil and shred chicken breast and set aside

  • In a new pot: add a little oil of yours choice and sauté the onion, garlic and carrots for a few minutes

  • Add the chicken, and a crap ton of turmeric and curry powder (probably 2tbsps of turmeric and 4 tbsps of curry powder)

  • Then add the bone broth - no measurements here just add as much as you like until the soup has your preferred soup texture

  • Let simmer for around 10min then add salt and pepper to taste

  • Simmer some more until you’re ready to eat!
